Angie graduated from Penn State with a B.S. in Biological Engineering with a focus in Food Processing. Starting her career in operations, Angie managed the Retail Packaging Department at Blue Diamond Almonds. In that role she was responsible for the performance of packaging lines, safety of over 100 employees, and quality of every Blue Diamond-branded consumer product. Since that role, Angie has moved into a new position as Product Marketing Manager for Blue Diamond Grower’s Global Ingredients Division. She is responsible for managing to existing product portfolio as well as creating and integrating new products and product changes.
In this role, Angie also conducts margin analysis, communicates with sales & operations to establish estimated product demand for new items and assesses available capacity for new products. Angie creates formal business cases and product descriptions while working as a facilitator between the various internal departments to ensure product policy and processes are negotiated, documented, and executed accurately. Her job requires organization, effective communication, and problem solving–all skills she excited about bringing to the Gutzy Tri Team!
